A magnitude 7.3 earthquake struck the border region between Iraq and Iran on Sunday November 12.

As the result of the earthquake, about 530 people were killed and 7,818 were injured in the region reported by the local news.

The researchers from Geospatial Information Authority of Japan (GSI) utilized ALOS-2 data for the disaster analysis of this earthquake.
